the Issue
From the client’s view
Abigail’s old website was outdated, not functioning properly, and no longer reflected her brand or the high standard of her performances. She had previously attempted to have a new website built, but unfortunately, she was let down by the developer, leaving her frustrated and without a solution. After seeing the stunning transformation of another client’s website that I had designed, she reached out to me to see if I could bring her website to life and create something that truly represented her and her music.
the Solution
I worked with Abigail to create a new WordPress website using Kadence, I went for a very simplest design that was easy to navigate for her clients and easy for her to maintain.
Website Design:
After a deep-dive call with Abigail where we looked at various designs I found that she likes white space, along with greens and earthy tones. One of the key things that Abigail wanted was her ‘playlists’ on the website as she finds that most of her clients want to know what she can play, so I did these in a tabs in alphabetical order to make it simple for people to find the song that they were looking for.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Yvette of Lemonade Designs to create my new website and branding, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From the very beginning, Yvette was professional, attentive, and incredibly creative. They took the time to understand my vision and brought it to life in a way that exceeded my expectations. That Yvette ‘got me’ was essential. Family and friends have said how well the website reflects me.
