the Issue
From the client’s view
My previous website, while still one I loved, was originally designed and built during my time as a wedding and family photographer. As a result, it still carried strong links to that chapter of my work. I wanted a new website that truly reflected who I am now—one that embraces my passion for bold, vibrant colours and my focus on personal branding and corporate photography.
the Solution
I recommended using the StyleCloud Monde Dark template as the foundation for Eddie’s new website, allowing for a semi-custom design that incorporated key elements she loved. This template was the perfect choice as it seamlessly aligned with her brand aesthetic, beautifully complementing her signature colours of Hot Pink, Orange, and Navy while providing a bold and modern feel that truly reflected her current brand identity.
Website Design:
The concept for the new website was to create a bold, structured design that aligned more closely with corporate and personal branding clients while still delivering a WOW factor. Rather than a traditional website layout, the design took inspiration from high-end magazines, incorporating dynamic fonts, layered elements, and striking visuals to create a sophisticated and engaging experience that truly stands out.
Content Structure:
The new website’s structure was based on the original layout but was reimagined to better serve corporate and personal branding clients, ensuring a more tailored experience. While the primary focus shifted towards these areas, the site still includes an offering for family photography, maintaining a connection to that part of the business.
Imagery:
As a professional photographer, Eddie’s new website is the perfect place to showcase her imagery.
