Travel with Spirit

Who…

Travel with Spirit is an online travel blog by ex Editor at the Financal Times. Travel with Spirit offers a platform for journalists and photographers looking to share their travel features. The belief that the finest travel writing is rooted in personal identity drives the platform’s mission. These stories are shaped by the authors’ hearts, relationships, and values.

the Issue

From the client’s view

We needed a website for Travel with Spirit to create a dedicated space where both seasoned professionals and aspiring writers could share their travel experiences with a wider audience. Journalism is a craft best learned through practice, and we wanted to provide an outlet that not only showcases compelling stories but also inspires those who contribute to our pages.

the Solution

The solution was a WordPress blog that allowed Chris to provide access to other writers, enabling them to upload their posts whether they were regular contributors or one-time writers. This platform made it easy for journalists and photographers to share their travel features, ensuring a seamless and collaborative publishing process.

With WordPress, the site was designed to be user-friendly and flexible, allowing contributors to submit their stories while maintaining a cohesive and engaging reader experience. By creating this blog, Travel with Spirit now has a professional and accessible space where writers can showcase their work, and readers can be inspired by authentic travel storytelling.

Yvette is easy to work with and very quick to understand what you need from a website, how you want it to look, and adds value with great suggestions of her own. She becomes part of your team, and is there for you whenever you encounter problems. Far and away the easiest communicator I’ve worked with for the creation of a website from scratch. I’d recommend her to anyone for web design, development and branding.
