the Issue

I had the pleasure of developing Gemma Gaskins’ website back in 2017, however over time it has become outdated and lost its allure. Additionally, her website has recently fallen victim to a hacking incident which is causing some issues with the database, backend, and front end.

my Approach

Before commencing any work on her website, the utmost priority was to eliminate all the malicious software and scripts that had been injected into her website. This intrusion primarily stemmed from outdated plugins that continuously triggered the issues. Once the website was free from malware, I transferred it to a development environment. Here, I systematically removed any plugins that were no longer in use or unsupported. With a clean slate, I began the process of crafting a fresh design for Gemma’s new website.

Finally, Gemma now has a stunning, sleek new website that beautifully showcases her work.
